Weesen - Gäsi

The walk starts in Weesen and leads along the idyllic Linth promenade, where every now and then you find a bench to relax on. At the next bridge, you cross the Linth Canal and walk along the other side of the Linth back towards the lake to the old lido in Weesen. The rest of the route along the lakeshore is wonderfully idyllic and offers breathtaking views of Amden and all the way to Walenstadt. Time to lean back and enjoy. 

Beach Feeling with a Mountain Panorama

Shortly afterwards, you arrive at Gäsi "Beizli", a typical Swiss restaurant by the lake. The beautiful terrace invites you to enjoy the idyllic atmosphere of Lake Walensee under the shade of the trees with delicious food and drinks. In summer, you can spend a few hours on the long bathing beach and take a dip in the cool water. Children will find plenty of opportunities to run around in the playground next door, and the Gäsi fireplace is the ideal place to have a barbecue on the beach. In short, there is an activity to suit every taste at Gäsi – always with a fantastic mountain panorama!
