Standing at the Seerenbach Falls viewpoint, the gigantic waterfalls will captivate you. From here, you can look vertically down to the giant rocks and the masses of water cascading down into the valley. Even more impressive is the Rin spring next to it.
Unique Natural Spectacle
Anyone approaching the Seerenbach Falls will experience their mighty presence with all their senses. The chapel in Betlis offers the best view of all three stages of the waterfall. With a height of 305 meters, the middle of the three cascades is one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in the world. Together, the three steps measure almost 600 meters in length.
Up Close to the Water
To enjoy the nature around the gigantic waterfalls on Lake Walensee even more, it is worth taking the short hike from Betlis to the Seerenbach Falls viewpoint. The waterfalls are really impressive from up close and offer a refreshing cool-down in warm weather. Especially in spring and after heavy rainfall, the Seerenbach Falls carry lots of water.

How to get there
A short hike from Weesen to Betlis takes about an hour to reach the Seerenbach Falls viewpoint. The boat trip from Weesen to Betlis is also very special.
If you are traveling by car, please note that there are very few parking spaces in Betlis and the route is only one lane. We therefore recommend arriving on foot or by boat.
