Fishing Center Weesen
The Weesen Fishing Center is the birthplace of numerous native fish - a place to go for anyone who wants to find out more about the fascinating underwater world of Lake Walensee.
Thousands of native fish are bred in the modern facilities of the Weesen's fishing center before they are let go into the lake. The aim is to preserve the diversity of fish in Swiss waters and protect their habitats.
In addition, the center is the first point of contact for questions about the waters of Lake Walensee and Lake Zurich-Obersee as well as the Linth canal.
