The view from the Durschlegi viewpoint extends over the village of Amden, the Leistkamm and Lake Walensee almost as far as Walenstadt on the eastern shore of the lake. The beautiful view of the lake is framed by the Glarus Alps. The Mürtschenstock, which lies opposite Amden stands out from the magnificent mountain range with its striking mountain range.
